Tokyo Metro: Excellent subway system in Tokyo. A single ride costs ¥150–220 depending on distance. Get a Suica card (rechargeable, ¥2,000 with ¥1,500 balance) from convenience stores or ticket machines.
Buses: Useful for exploring rural areas. Most accept Suica cards. Check local schedules before boarding.
Taxis: Expensive but abundant. Base fare ¥500, then ¥80 per 1 km. Use only if necessary or for short distances.
